Day
01 : Leh
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our
representative and transferred to the Hotel.
Check in to the Hotel for a Complete day of rest
wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the
Hotel.
Day
02 : Leh Sightseeing - Leh
After breakfast drive for full day sightseeing, Hall
of Fame , Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill,
Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River). Kali
Temple, and Evening visit to Shanti Stupa.
After sightseeing back to Hotel and overnight stay
at Hotel.
Day 03 : Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast drive for full day sightseeing,
Hemis Monastery, Thiksay Monastery , Shey Palace & 3
Idiot School after Evening visit to Shanti Stupa.
After sightseeing back to Hotel and overnight stay
at Hotel.
Hemis Monastery is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery of
the Drukpa Lineage, in Hemis, Ladakh, India.
Situated 45 km from Leh, it was re-established in
1672 by the Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal.
Thiksey Monastery is a convenient 45min drive from
Leh - the main city in Ladakh. There is good choice
of accommodation available in Leh . Alternatively,
one can stay at the excellent Chamba Hotel at the
base of Thiksey monastery and run by the Monastery.
Chamba Hotel has traditional Ladakhi architecture.
Day 04 : Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass - Hunder
(120 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known
as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest
Motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).
Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On
your arrival in Hunder check in the camp.
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the
banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on
double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit
& Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.
Day 05 : Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder ( Approx 2 -3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time
opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place
Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the
village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages
in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village
with the whole population of muslims still resembles
mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use
traditional utensils which are crafted from stone.
Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers
views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On
clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak
located across the border in Pakistan. Though a
muslim village, there are few gompas located on the
plateau above Shyok River and there is a old royal
house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the
evening.
Overnight stay in Camp , Hunder
Day 06 : Hunder - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via
Shayok
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next
destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse
and Spangmik ( Pangong). It's a short cut and it's a
beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river,
and climbs up a mountain before finally descending
into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to
reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of
the rather big village surrounded by barren
mountains, the entire setting being very
picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and
enjoy your day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at
camp.
Day 07 : Pangong to Tsomoriri Lake 240 Kms / (Approx
7-8 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake
(14000 ft abov sea level) by passing Chumathang (Hot
Spring) Along The Indus river. Tsomoriri Arr. 1600
Hrs. Afterwards take a walk around the Lake to enjoy
the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok Village.
Day 08 : Tsomoriri Lake - Leh (Approx 6-7 hrs)
After breakfast drive back to Leh visiting Puga
Sulphur Mine, Tsokar Lake and through Taklang La
Pass (17585 ft) second highest motor able road in
the world. and visit to Hemis Monastery ,Thiksay
Monastery , Shey Monastery , 3 Idiot School after
back to leh city and visit to shantistupa and leh
palace. Evening free to explore the local markets of
Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 09 : Leh Departure
After Breakfast check out hotel and Transfer to
airport and fly back to Delhi.
