Nubra Valley trek begins from Indus valley at Ney village through beautiful villages, famous Monasteries, pastureland and interesting passes including Lasermola ( 5150mt.) one of the famous pass of the Himalayan range, from there an extraordinary panoramic view of full Himalayan range K2 and Zanskar range. The northern part of Lasermo la is cover with glacier. The trek ends in Nubra velley "the ancient silk route" The uniqueness of this trek is the area is famous for high altitude medicinal plants including wild animals like Tibetan Ibex and mountain coke besides these yaks, Bactrian camels (shaggy double hump camel) and these particular Trek routes are not yet known to tourist.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Leh (Complete Rest in Leh)
In the morning, fly from Delhi to Leh. On arrival at Ladakh, meet our representative. Check-in to the pre-booked hotel. Take rest and be acclimatized. Visit the local market of Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02: Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis
Today, we shall go on a sightseeing tour to some important monasteries in the area. We will be visiting Shey Gompa, which was once the summer capital of Ladakh kings; Thiksey Gompa, which is said to be one of the most beautiful structures in Ladakh and the famed Hemis Monastery belonging to Drukpa Order. Overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 03: Leh - Khardung La - Kyagar
Today, we will drive to Kyagar Village via Khardung La, the highest motor-able road in the world. Explore Samstanling Monastery and the small human settlements. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 04: Kyagar - Hunder
Today, we shall drive to Diskit Monastery to our first camp placed in Hunder. At Hunder, if possible, we will arrange a short ride on Bactrian Camel.

Day 05: Hunder - Skarchen
Post breakfast, we shall begin our trekking through an incredible valley to shepherd's huts positioned at Skarchen (3800 meters) at the confluence of 2 streams. It is here that we will set the camps and have an overnight stay.

Day 06: Skarchen - Brok Yogma
Our trek will be to Brok Yogma, for which we will cross the tiny hamlets of Dokyogma, Wacham and Drokyogma. Camp at Sniu Sumdo.

Day 07: Brok Yogma - Hunder Valley
Today, we will trek up to the valley of Hunder and the Lasermo La. The camp will be set at 4800 meters elevation.

Day 08: Hundar Valley - Lasermo La - Phyang Valley
We shall start early in the morning to cross Lasermo La (5420 meters) and then trek down to Phyang La. Overnight stay at the camp at about 4500 meters of elevation.

Day 09: Phyang Valley - Leh
Our trek for today will be to Phyang, where jeeps will be waiting to take us to Leh. Arrive at the hotel and have overnight stay.

Day 10: Leh - Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour.
