DETAIL ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive Manali
On arrival Manali transfer to hotel. Day free,
evening walk around local market.
Overnight stay at the hotel
 Day 02: Manali - Rohtang Pass Koksar Keylong
After Breakfast check out hotel and
proceed to Rohtang Pass 3790 M is most popular with
visitors, being one of the highest road point and
gateway to LAHAUL and SPITI valleys. Pass remains
closed during winter due to heavy snow from November
end to May end. Visit ROHTANG with similar high
altitude topography, forest of Birch, Fir and
Spruce. Once we cross the Rohtang Pass border we are
in the Barren Himalayas with the landscape
completely changing Khoksar is the first village and
gate way to Lahaul Night stay in Keylong. Overnight
stay at the Camp.
Day 03: Drive Keylong - Darcha - Sarchu - Tso Kar -
Tso Moriri
After breakfast checkout Camp drive up to Tso Moriri.
May take approx 10 hours. You will arrive at Darcha
( 3500 Meter) is situated at the junction of Yotche
Nullah and the Zangskar chhu which takes off from
the Shinkun la. Both these nullahs meet with the
main river Bhaga at this place. This is the main
point for the trek lovers wish to enter in Zanskar
valley or up to Leh.
Your drive from this place will take to BaraLacha
Pass ( 1620 Ft) and further drive to Sarchu which is
nearly the mid point of Manali Leh route.
Further drive by crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la
Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then
drive on towards Tsokar Lake which is high altitude
Sault Lake. Spend your quality time at this place
and drive further to Tsomoriri. One of the most
beautiful lake situated in the South East of Leh and
close to Tibet border. Spend the night at this place
and overnight. Overnight stay at the
Camp.
Day 04: Drive Tsomoriri -Tanglangla - Leh
After breakfast check out Camp and drive to Leh,
Evening check in Hotel and Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 5 : Leh
Sightseeing - Magnetic Hill & Pathar Sahib Gurudwara
- Sangam
After breakfast, driver to Sangam , Half day
excursion to Magnetic Hill & Sangam View where Indus
& Zanskar river meet and River Rafting point. On the
way Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Afternoon you would be
driven back to hotel. In the evening enjoy a sunset
at Shanti Stupa. Night stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 06 : Departure Leh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at
Airport for return journey with sweet memories of
Ladakh Tour. |
